BOBBY'S SHRINE
In August of 1951 at Albuquerque's KiMo Theatre , 7 year old Bobby Darnall was coming down from the balcony just as the boiler under the staircase exploded. Young Bobby was killed and nine other people injured. Not long after, reports of sightings of a young boy in the theatre began to surface and inexplicable events occurred. Actors and crew began leaving small gifts, especially donuts, to appease young Bobby along the back wall of the stage. When the theatre was remodeled in the 1970's, a separate shrine was built for Bobby just behind the stage and outside of the dressing room doors.
See the donut?
It had petrified on the original stage wall shrine and was moved to the permanent shrine in the '70's.
